Congress in Argentina

I am delighted to confirm that in September this year I will be in Buenos Aires to take part in the 22nd Congress of reproductive medicine to be held in Argentina.

Sociedad Argentina de Medicina Reproductiva (SAMeR) have invited me to the event and I am looking forward to meeting the doctors, embryologists, specialists and everyone involved in helping people in Argentina with their fertility issues.

The theme of the event is “From the beginning to the future” so I will be talking about how it all began with my mum and dad and with the amazing pioneers Bob Edwards, Patrick Steptoe and Jean Purdy.

But I’m also looking forward to hearing about the latest techniques and how IVF is developing and will continue to develop in the future.

Every two years, the Argentine Society of Reproductive Medicine (SAMeR) brings together professionals from Argentina and the region at the Argentine Congress of Reproductive Medicine, a space for meeting and exchanging information on advances in the field.

The 2026 edition will take place in person on September 16, 17, and 18 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

As the programme develops details will be found here: www.samer.org.ar
